The PBR Road Warriors
I had the most fun that I’ve ever had yesterday watching a race. The race was the 2005 Twin Cities Marathon and the reason for the fun was a group of 7 others that joined me to chase the race on bike. Two individuals (ahem, Mr. Erickson and Mr. Mitchell) affixed tubs to their bike and hauled some tasty Pabst along for refreshments.
We caught the route at about 7 different places, starting at Lake Calhoun and ending at the Capital building. Since the lovely Mrs. T3ks3y was running the race with her best friend Bethie-boo, I was able to use my Rebel XT to grab lots of shots.
It was a very successful day – Heather and Beth finished (and had a great time), Alana (a co-worker) finished, we got in 30 miles of riding, and JP avoided even getting road rash when he tangled with Kermit’s bike.
