All finished!
It was supposed to take 10 days, it took about 7. Our screen porch and deck is done 3 days early! We still have to have gutters added and we have to install lighting – but that’s it. It’ll be wonderful to get the grill and deck furniture out of the garage after a year. And, now that things are done.. I’d give an unhesitating recommendation for Curt’s Custom Decks if anybody needs work done.

Your deck looks really awesome. I really like how the portion underneath is still grass. What is the height clearance under there?
Ha.. yeah, something needs to be done under there. It’s about 6’7″ to the rafters, so I fit underneath with about an inch to spare. I tried suggesting gargoyles to my wife, but she didn’t bite. Maybe a hot tub?
